O. are provided for the motorist at three locations as shown on the accompanying Former 4-H- 'er Gets $2400 Fellowship A $2,400 national 4-- H fellow- - ship has been awarded to Miss Charlene Lind, of "Midvale, now serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Upolu, Western Samoa. She is one ci' six persons to receive this high award, accord-ing to an announcement made during the Na-tional 4-- H Co-nference held recently in Washington, D. C. From 1955-5- 7 Miss Lind was a county home demonstration agent on the Utah Extension Service staff, Miss Lind working closely with the county agent on all 4-- H and Extension' activities. She was a her-self for seven years, winning the state clothing trip award to the National 4-- Club Congress. Miss Lind received her bach-elor of science degree from Utah State University. An active co-e- d, she was president of the Home Economics Club, the Cam-pus 4-- H Club, and a member of four sororities. She was on the varsity debating team for four years. Miss Lind is expected to re-turn to this country in time to spend a week the latter part of August at the National Commit-tee on Boys and Girls Club Work in Chicago enroute to Washing- - . ton, D.C. where she will reside for 12 months. While pursuing her graduate study, she will embark on an Extension training program su-pervised by the USDA.
