You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to be your loveliest. This does not mean spending hours a day but main-taining good beauty 'habits that will actually take minutes only. A carefully planned schedule will help you save time and will give you those precious moments for skin care, hair care, and figure contouring. For example, in just ten minutes you can cleanse your face with liquid cleanser, remove cleanser with a soft wash cloth and plenty-o- f warm water, then pat on an astringent to close the pores. Apply a lubricant. Now you are ready for your morning exercises, which are a must for a trim, well-proportion- ed figure. Miss Christee, noted figure authority, whose services are available in Salt Lake at Antoin-ette's French Salon, says, "An ex-ercise to start the day that in-creases circulation, maintains muscle tone, builds a fine figure and good posture, follows: In a doorway, standing sideways on tiptoe, reach till fingertips touch the top. Slowly bend sideways as far as possible until hand touches the side of the thigh. Then bring arm up slowly (feeling a long stretch through the waist) till fingertips touch top of doorway. Alternate on opposite sides, five times. Care should be taken that arms come down in a smooth, round arc not jerky. This pro-motes smooth, flowing and grace-ful body movements." Miss Christee also stated, that every woman should take bust exercises, both to improve and to build the breast muscles, and to maintain bust beauty. Highly paid models are required to do daily bust ex-ercises for good form. One of the easiest and most effective exercises, follows: After the daily bath, take a medium size towel and grasp with both hands. Bring to the front of the body, then slowly raise the towel over the head and backwards as far as possible. Then bring towel for-ward again over the head and down and to the front of the body. This should be done very slowly with a definite pull felt ia the shoulder area. Start at ten times. When this habit is estab-lished as a part of the bath ritual, daily, the results are impressive. Select your favorite Beauty Salon and let them advise you on the hair style most becoming to you. They can even recommend the correct shampoo for shinier hair, and treatment for problems such as dandruff, dry or oily hair. Maybe what you need is one of the new five week rinses that is not a tint but will highlight your natural coloring. Make-u- p is ever important to be your prettiest. Select shades to compliment your skin tones and the new note in lipsticks are the corals, russets, and pale blue reds. Make him proud of you. Be his LOVELY Valentine!
