Show Scout Briefs A basic training course for Girl Scout leaders has been announced by the Sale Lake -Council. The course will train adult leaders in scouting for handling a troop of their own. The course will be held March 11-18 and 23th and April l-8th from 12 to 3:30 p.m. at the Cottonwood Cotton-wood Community Service Center Cen-ter 5695 Highliand Dr. Interested persons may ob tain other information by contacting con-tacting Dorothy Giersz, CR 7- Two troops in the East Mill Creek Neighborhood are combining to give a program and tea for the mothers in celebration of Girl Scout Birthday Birth-day week. Troop 147, under the leadership of Mrs. Myrna Jones and a newly organized gTcup under the leadership of Mrs Joyce Taylor and Mrs. Jsan Zaiter, will hold their tea at the East Mill Creek school on the afternoon of March 13th. Brownie Troop 22, with their leader Mrc. Bernice Scholl, is'ted Mount View Nursing Home, 4790 So. Holladay Blvd. cn Fegruary 20th and presented pre-sented the old folks with a Valentine Fan that they had mar'e, as well as a box of cookies for the pleasure of the shut-ins |
