Show Page 4 SOUTH SALT LAKE NEWS AMERICAN Thursday March 13t 1969 CANCER SOCIETY means hundreds of meetings held with groups all over the state and thousands of hours of time by cancer officials telling the same story over and over again. But this year the 1969 Crusade is taking a different approach which will enable everybody to stay comfortably at home and still get all the information according to Rendell N. Mabey, State Crusade Chairman for the American Cancer Society. A special training film has been taped and will be shown by educational television stations all over Utah In the coming weeks. The first program will be televised March 14 at 4:30 p.m. over KUED-T- V Channel 7. The films will not only Instruct the volunteer crusader, but will also enlighten the general audience as to the alms and goals of the Cancer Society.
