Brother Joseph Bitter was sustained In his place . The bishopric encouraged ev- eryone to attend the temple next Friday, September 19th. Please make note that due to General Conference It will be necessary to hold Fast Meeting on the 2nd Sunday In October at 2:30 p.m. Roadshow practices are underway, under the direction of Anita Horman. The cast Is having a lot of fun practlcng and the members of the ward are looking forward to seeing It. Watch for further announcements! The bishopric remind all the ward leaders of the 7 p.m. Stake Conference Leadership meetings next Saturday and encourage the ward membership to attend Stake Conference next Sunday at 10 a.m. SOUTH SALT LAKE STAKE The South Salt Lake Stake Re- lief Society will hold their first Leadership Meeting of the season on Monday September 22 at 10 a. m. It will be followed by a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. There will be a Stake Boy Scout Court of Honor on Wednesday Sept. 17th at 8 p.m. at the Stake Center. Stake Conference will be held on September 21st at 10 a.m. Stake Temple Day lsFrldaySept. 19th. HAVEN WARD New members In our ward are: Connie Jeanne Gary Wayen Frlede, Connelley, Marilyn Julie Morgan, LaRae Jacobson, Mary Mast. New babies blessed were Andrea evening at Sacrament meeting, under the direction of President Donald S. Brewer, Bishop L. Lyman Penrod and Broth er Mark Cheney, 1st counselor, were released. This was made necessary because of their being sustained as members of the High Council at the last Stake conference, August 17, 1969. For nearly 8 years these men have worked faithfully to build up Gods Kingdom In the ward. We extend to them our appreciation for their services and wish them success In their new callings. Also released was Gary Pearson, 2nd who has served for Counselor, about a year. Anthony F. Flschlo was sustained as the new bishop with Gary E. Pearson and Jay W. Galll as counselors. Our congratulations and good wishes to these three brethren. Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on package; blend 1 cup into cooled pudding with lemon rind. Spoon about half of the pudding mixture into a shallow glass bowl. Line sides with filled ladyfinger halves; then spoon in remaining pudding mixture. Chill until serving time. If desired, garnish with toasted coconut or remaining whipped topping. Makes 6 servings. Opening Set For Duck and Geese AfRAKlID Goose hunters will have to wait a week following the 1969-7- 0 duck hunt to pursue their favorite bird. The Board of Fish and Game set an opening of October 18 for geese and an opening of October 11 for ducks.
