Sacrament meeting was a spiritual experience as we listened to the singing of both the youth choir and the Ward Choir and to the testimonies of three fine young men. First our youth speaker, Vincent Bath, a Deacon and then from Ed Jackson, whose family moved Into our ward last summer. Ed, who has been a member of the church for a year, has been serving In the U.S. Navy In Vietnam. He reported back to service on Tuesday. A Youth Discussion Meeting held at the Ward Sunday evening was well atrended by young people. They heard from David L. Beck, a member of the Stake Mission Presidency who told them of a program being outlined wherein they will be called upon to work with the Stake Missionaries In forwarding their work. Refreshments were furnished by the young men and served by the young women. The Aaronlc Priesthood boys of our ward joined the other boys of the stake In singing a special number at the Stake general Priesthood meeting on Monday evening at the stake center. The girls of the ward have been participating in Volley Ball games each Monday night at North Central Park Ward, under the direction of Judy Harrington and Mary Alice Thompson. They played their last game against Madison Ward Monday evening. Results next week At the YWMIA 100 year birthday party on Saturday evening the Presidents, past and present, were honored and presented with a gift.
