Show Friday, September 15, 1961 SOUTH SALT LAKE HERALD Management Center at College AnnouncesNew Fall Schedule Ed Blackman, director of the Management Center, Westminster College, announces that the management development programs for the coming year will begin Monday eve- -' ning, September 18. The schedule for 1961-6- 2 outlines expanded, flexible programs to better fit the needs of management personnel in the growing industrial community. Three series are being offer ed in the coming year. The Monday evening series will of- fer the Leadership and Human Relations program, first quarter; Building Effective Communication, second quarter; and the participants will choose their own third quarter program. The Tuesday Evening Series will feature Supervisory Cost first quarter; Management, Basic Economics, second quar Page 3 ter; and Leadership and Human Relations, third quar- Sugar House The Wednesday Evening Series, designed primarily for middle and fop management personnel, offers Making the Most of Meetings, first quarter; Coaching and Developing Individuals, second quarter; The training staff for 1961-6- 2 will include James J. Farley, vice president of the College, Ames K. Bagley, vice president, Zions First National Bank, and Mr. Blackman. The Sugar House Chamber of Commerce will get its fall and winter season into full swing on Wednesday, September 27 when Lee P. Kay, educational specialist for the Utah Fish and Game Commission will address the group and show interesting wild life and outdoor scenic slides. The luncheon meeting will be held at the Beau Brummel. Another feature of the chambers interesting programs ter. planned for this new season will be the annual tribute to Sugar House pioneers which will come in October.
