Bradshaw, 65, of Wellsville, Senior High Councilman of the Hyrum Stake, were held in the 'Wellville tabernacle on Friday at 2 p. m. with Bishop Cliff Olsen in charge of the ser- vices. The ward Choir under the direction of Chorister Lewis Brench ley and accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Rena B. Leishman sang two numbers, Jesus Lover of My Soul and I Need Thee Every Hour. Other musical contributions were two vocal duets, Face to Face and Crossing the Bar by Parley Hall and Nellie Leishman accompanied by Reta Poppleton. Speakers were High Councilman and neighbor Walter G. Perkins, President Edwin Clawson and John C. Brenchley. They spoke of his life, his work in the .church as well as in civil life and always found him to be an 'industrious man, patient, kind and one wh was humble and charitable. He was always thankful for his membership in the Church.-- He encouraged all to seek first the kingdom vf God and exemplified this in his life. He was a loving father, a good Counselor and a successful farmer and dairyman. "Bishop Olsen expresed his sympathy to the family and also thanked all for their service's. He read a poem The Gentleman by Tldgar A. Guest. Prayers were offered by Rob- ert G Stuart and S j,hn PeTkin3. The grave in the Wellsville Cemetery was dedicated by Heber C. Parker, a brother dn law. There -- were a profusion of beautiful flowers and they were carried by twenty girl friends of the family. Pall bearers were Grover Jones, Parley Smith, Orrice, James, and Hershall Bradshaw, and Wm. J. Barnes of Montpelier, Idaho. Mr. Bradshaws death occured Tuesday evening very suddenly. f! 4 TALLOWS RITES SET Funeral services for George L. (Roy) Fallows, who died in Los Angeles, California, will be conducted in Hyrum Second ward on Saturday at r2 p. m. with Bp. Levi Andersen officiating. Friends may call at the Thomp son Funeral Home in Hyrum Saturday from 10 a. m. until service time. Burial will be in the family plot in the Hyrum cemetery. "The Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. J. Merrill Baxter and enjoyed a program with President Mrs Fred J. Carlson in charge. Elmer Archibald returned to his ship in New York on Tues- day after spending the past five days here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex W. Archibald and relatives. Mrs. Ivean Morgan and Carl Bradshaw of the U. S. Navy at Los Angeles, returned to their homes on Tuesday after spending a week here on acaount of the death of their father, Thomas S Bradshaw. A motion was made by Homer Petersen, head of the Water de- J I HANSEN Ijames Bankhead Passes Away James II. Bankhead of Wellsville died Thursday morning after an illness of two weeks duration. He has been in the hospital for ten days and was operated on last Friday. Mr. Bankhead was born October 14, 1882, the son of Heber K. and Rachel Haslam Bankhead. He has been active in church and civic affairs and was a High Priest at the time of death. He served a two year mission to Eng land also, Mr. Bankhead married Rose Danielsen of Paradise in the Salt Lake Temple on September 24 1913.
