The contest opens on March 17 and was inspired by the bestselling book written by William Harry S. Truman B. Ziff The Gentlemen Talk of Peace, Mr. Frazer explained. It is open to any legal resident of the United States or its possessions and to members of our armed forces. Entries must be limited to 1,000 words in length and sent to the National Peace Treaty Contest Headquarters, 350 Fifth Avenue, New York 1, N. Y. postmarked not later thaa midnight, April 15, 1945.
