Wednesday night at the local theatre. A fine show bad just been shown on the screen. The house was packed to capacity and the lights went out, no fault of the management. The lighs were out for perhaps five minutes . It was a very good chance to watch the people in such circumstances. While the manager was out trying to locate the trouble a few of those who apperent-lhad no regard for the safty of others began lighting matches and throwing articles. A few even went so far as to call fire. Should there have been a fire caused from the matches, or should these cries of fire been heeded (there were no fires other than on the end of matches) many people probably v.uld have teen injure! and perhaps lives lost. This article is not wriien for the purpose ni hurting anyone but, in these days when we are at war and sabatage is more likely t o be on the rampage, we should remember that it is little things that count. No bombs were dropped no fires started. Dont cry fire until there is one- You would hate to feel the blame of a death or injury on your shoulder, should you be the one to accidently start a fire or cry fire with no cause. y - The First Ward Birthday Club was entertained at the home of Mrs. Melinda Liljenquist Saturday evening.
