Bern in IT, rum October 20, 1922. He graduated from the Lincoln school ard attended Sou.h Cache jeers. After leaving Hi h SJ.mol young Gibbs worked at Cgdcn ar.J later cbta r.ed employment in Idaho. Frieda Xiamen was born at Fibraary 5, 1925, a daughter cf Wi ham F. and Ida Collister Kidman. After completing the grade school, M ss kidman entered South Cache and was a member of the Junior c lass at the time of her death. The yevng people were outstanding students in social activities at South Crche and seminary as well. Interested in the field of religion the youths cm.nbutcd of their time and talent in Sunday school work and MIA work. He is survived by his parents a grandfather, Jens C. Anderson of Hyrum; the folowing brothers and sisters! Eugene Gibbs, with a construction company in Oiegonl Mdton, LaGrandc, Gail, Loa Lou, Elsie Ross, Val Roy, Cora Jane, and La-RG'bbs all of Hyrum. Surviving Miss Kidman bes'des her parents are the following brothers and sisters; Mrs Gene Jones of Vellsville, Mrs. Don Harris of Elaine, Donald and Leland K dman of Petersboro, ad a grandfather, A. T. Collister of Cornish. Place cf Accident 1 he accident occurcd at 5 p.m. one mile west of Paul, Idaho, on highway No 5. According to reports made, the occupants of the car had been following a truck driven by LeRoy Reedy of Burley, for some distance, when the cr.ver decided to turn off the highway. As he slowed down it is thought that Mr. Olsen failed to see the signal and crashed into the rear of the truck, killing Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs instantly. H. P. Anderson, instructor al South Cache High said, Youth is to make themselves preparing fit for the demand which shall be made of them and God needs the vouth as well as the older people. He also mentioned the sorrow hovering over Mendon because of the death of this couple. Bishop Larson was deeply pleased for the many wonderful floral off erings, which expressed love sympathy and devotion for the departed ones. In behalf of the families he thanked all who were presnt for their contributions. Prayers were offered by Albin Clawson of Hyrum and L. K. Following the services the remains were taken to the Logan cemetery where the graves were dedicated by former bishop Henry Sorensen of Mendon. . PROFESSOR Wednsday evening, November 5th the Lions club held their regular meeting at the South Cache Cafeteria. The meeting was under the direction of President F.J. Carlson.
