It is very unusual to have such a store in a town of less than 5000 population, but Mr. L. M; Edison, who is a well known and popular Hyrum boy, and former manager of the United and "Skaggs stores of Lagan, has succeeded in convincing the United Management that what Hyrum lacks in population, is made up in general prosperity, thrift and enterprize. In view of these facts, and for the purpose of housing the new enterprise, Mr. Edison purchased outright the Clara Williams-Ray-monbuilding, and carpenters and painters have been busy the past few days in repairing and remodeling the building to make it suitable for an store. Mr. Edison further states, that while this store is flying under th flag of a chain store organization, it will virtually be a 99.44-10per cent lacal enterprise. This store will be stocked with all fresh goods of great variety and standard, well "known brands. It will be operated on a strictly cash and no delivery plan, the same as all other United stores. This will give us all a better idea as to our attitude as Democrats in the coming County Election. Democrats are especially invited to attend and calmly and thoroughly discuss these important matters. Remember the time: Tuesday Eve., Oct. 14, 8 p. m., at City Hall.
