Due to the inclement weather the celebration took place in the Elite Hall which is a wonderful place for such celebrations. It is to be hoped that this will be made an annual event to which we might all look to with great joy. May the spirit and affair grow year by year. e Club Holds Its Regular Meeting The Hyrum Sportsmans Club held its regular meeting Thursday evening Dec. 29th, at which time a very warm spirit was Bhown toward the prospects for enlargement. ' A committee was appointed to redraft the constitution that it might give out in detail more fully the real purpose of the club. This will be presented for approval at the next regular meeting Jan. 11, 1922. All members who have been some what inactive are urged to be present and voice their opinions on this very important and timely matter. The sentiments given out by the Sportsmens Club in its recent meetings go to show that it has at heart the real eivic affairs of Hyrum. Cache Co., and the State. That the general opinion held by we members from the outside is erroneous 1. e. that the Club was organized mainly for recreation and the pleasures of the hour. We commend it for the fine spirit it is taking and feel that, by good cautious work on its part it will finally evolve into something of which we shall be proud as a community. Something that will mean a bigger, better, cleaner Hyrum as well as helping County and State. If such is built on the firm foundation you now, have, we feel to assure you that you shall not want for an increase of good progressive membership. May we look to you for something even better than we now ex. pect. Contributed.
