The experienced reader will at times make the same or similar mistakes in reading the meter, but this will not be against the intersts of the consumer, excepting that, if the meter is overread, the consumer will pay the difference of the misreading as advanced payment in the next months bill, for, on computing the bill from the next month reading of the meter the error will be noted, as the bill will be less in amount equal to the overcharge of the previous months. The meter readings cannot work against the consumer, as the total amount charged for consumption must be equal to the total number of kilowatt hours, multiplied by the rate per kilowatt hourcharged for electricity. This will be found to be correct in all' cases except where the consumer does not use the full amount allowed for the minimum monthly charge, and in this case an incorrect reading will not affect the bill. At times when the meter has been overread, it may be found that the total consumption for the two months does not equal the amount allowed for the .minimum rate, and in that case the total amount charged will not exceed the two months minimum rate, and this may be to the advantage of the consumer, but as the mistake was not of his makiug he is entitled ad to this mall advantage. 11 The Opera Ermine will be presented by the South Caee High School about the third week ef February, Mr. N. W. Christiansen of the Music Dept, is directing it, assisted by Miss Coleman, who is ' coaching the dramatic phase of the production..
