Can you, women of the West, pause In the great task which has been set for you? Can you halt for an instant in the face of the countrys need? Will all of those planned purchases weigh in the scale with the call which comes ringing across from those plains where the boys are fighting? It is to keep your boy on the march toward the final goal that the Government asks you to lend it your utmost. I regret that I have but one life to give for my country, said Nathan Hale, as he ascended the enemy's gallows. Ours is the task to save lives for our country, to save by lending our all at its request. The Fourth Liberty Loan gives American mothers and sisters a new opportunity to make impossible a regret that they had but one chance to give. The Fourth Liberty Loan is ours. What is our utmost? The country awaits our answer. Christensen 1st Couns , Miss Sybil Frogner 2nd Couns., Mrs Martha Olsen Secy., Margaret Smurthwaite, Barbara Maughan and LaRue Petersen Aids. The South Cache National Farm Loan Association which was organ- izd some time ago has now obtained $24,000.00 from the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley, California. This sum is constituted of loans made on farm property in Hyrum, Paradise and Avon. Farmers who for any reason need to borrow money on their land should be interested in this as there is no better way for farmers to obtain loans. Interest does not exceed per cent and the per annum, expense in obtaining the loan is no greater than . by mortgaging to any other money lending institution. The principle is paid off on the amortization plan reaching over a period of 35 years with the privilege of paying the entire amount or any part thereof, at any interest period after the expiration of 5 years. The Federal Land Bank is urging the farmers to take advantage of this as they are now able to take care of applications for loans as We fast as they can get them. urge any farmer in this vicinity who wishes to borrow money through the Association to file their application at once, with Hans Mikkelsen Secyand Treas.
