' Uncle Sam. Mr. M. A.-- Gill, President of the Council, in a short speech accepted the flag in behalf of the city. The oration by Judge A. J. Weber, was full of enthusiasm and patriotic thought and much valuable information was gained by his splendid talk. It was certainly fine and received much comment. About 3:30 p. m. some amuse- , ments were carried on on the public square, and at 5 p. m. a very good game of base ball was played between the North Cache and South Cache High school teams, the score resulting in favor of oqth Cache. The special attraction at the Rex 1 heater Was also was largely attended, as the dance at the Elite Hall. These with other features, were the closing climax to a good, clean 4th f July celebration in Hyrum. Much credit is due the general, as well as all other committees, who had charge, of the celebration, and who all worked hard to make it the ' success it was.
