S. hospital at Salt Lake last Saturday, being sufficiently recovered from his recedt operation to enable him to come home. Mr. Anderson is improving rapidly and is now on the high road of recovery. .The 6 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Jensen of the 3rd ward, died from the effects of scarlet fever Friday evening. Short services will be held in front of the residence on 1st weBt street Sunday at 12 oclock, to which friends of the family are invited to attend. The milk producers of Hyrum are invited to go to Richmond next Saturday Feb. 28rd, on the 11:43 car, at which time the dairymen of Richmond will take them around to the dairy herds and other places of interest. Everyone interested are invited to go. Elder Silas Allen, who just recently returned from a mission in England, very interestingly addressed the Saints at the three wards meeting last Sunday afternoon relating some of his experiences while laboring in that war stricken country. Prof. Casto of the B. Y. C. of Logan was also present and gave a very forceful and appreciative talk on Red Cross Work. The meeting was one of the largest and best attended for some time past. Out of 9 cases, there are 7 under quarantine, and no new cases have developed within the past few days, and indications are that this disease is also well under control, all of which goes to show that the city quarantine and health board have given the matter prompt attention.
