The main plant serves several storehouses and the entire administration group while two other plants keep the remainder of the buildings on the area warm. Yes sir, it takes 44 persons in the heating department and 40 tons of coal to keep depot personnel warm for one day, and during the winter months the coal quota will be raised to between 50 and 55 tons. At the plant Mr. Johnson’s pride and joy is the automatic control which regulates the heat in all buildings.
