Rasmussen and Jennie Peel Rasmussen. She was raised in Mt. Pleasant, and is the second of 10 children. While growing up, she spent much of her time working on the farm helping her father. She was introduced to Kent C. Anderson of Moroni at a dance held at Fiddlers Green. They were later married. Sarah and Kent lived in Moroni, Mt. Pleasant and Salt Lake City before moving to Garfield and Magna, and then to Bellevue, Washington where Kent was employed with the Euclid Equipment Co. After retiring, they traveled with their trailer for a few years before settling in Moroni in 1969. Kent passed away Nov. 1974. The couple raised two children, Karen and Monte, have six grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. Sarah has served in various LDS church positions in the Primary, as librarian, quilt director, and Relief Society president of the Moroni 2nd Ward. She served in the Hawaiian Mission of the LDS Church from Oct. 1982-Oct. 1983. She served as a temple worker in the Manti Utah Temple for five years. Sarah’s interests include traveling to Nauvoo, Ill., Israel, England and the Caribbean. Her hobbies have been gardening, crocheting doilies, sewing, quilting, and crocheting rag rugs and poetry writing which she is still doing. their honor that evening from 68 p.m. at the Johnson home at 198 N.
