Eph-raim is seven miles Heart r to all the min-es than is Mauti II the prospects in the west mountains, w hich aie looking quite nicely, ever develope into paying mines, then Ephraim, and not Manti, will be tne supply point. This is the nearest point to the railroad, and gardening and fruit; beet.'tggs, poultry and butter are as cheap and plentiful here as at Manti, ind why not tliis the supply point? Eph-raun'- s merchants can do the business as uell as Mauti. The difficulty now in the way is the cross ing of the bottoms at high water time. Let there be a prospect for a good mar-ket and business at the mines, and Eph-raim will petition the C unty Cuu t for a hist class biidge over the river xud a turnpike from Ephraim to he mines If the mines develop, Ephraim m:is' aida'have the indc.
