They spent winters in St. George and in Mesa. In 1992, they bought a home in St. George where they lived when Julius died. Louise lost her husband in 1993 and has since then been what she calls kid hopping. Louise still loves to travel. Daughter Sandra says she inherited car sickness from her mother. If the car leaves without them they get sick. A heart-fe- lt thanks goes out to all those who helped make this birthday an occasion to be remembered. It was a wonderful weekend. at tion. Louise came to the Eastland area in 1933 with her husband Julius and two children. They farmed in the Horsehead area until 1966 when they moved to Monticello to be involved in the mail carrier busii ess. One of the joys they found was gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and giving to others. As a member of the LDS church, Louise served in positions of each organization. First, there was a weekend of the 11th year of Blue Grass music, then the Bluff Elemen-tar- y School 7th Princess pageant and this past weekend, there was a thank you from the Business Owners of Bluff (BOB) to the community wTith the X Race and community BBQ... traditions old and new'. There were 12 walkers and 22 runners. The six who won were mostly from Blanding. Steve Hiatt, Wayne Pearson doing it. It started Friday evening and ended Sunday afternoon and it was one heck of a good time for all who attended. Of course, in the evenings, there were Miller moths (huge ones) and dogs in abundance and always the usual formal wear, sandals, shorts and straw cowboy hats.
