When Arthur started school in bePrice, Utah, his mother came very interested In the rs Association, as local President, serving Regional Director, and Third Vice President of the Utah TeachCongress of Parents and ers. The most outstanding project she worked on was getting the school lunch program started in Utah schools. Mrs. Redd was always ready to help with activities where her children were involved. She says, "Even though they only walked across the stage, I was twere to see them. " She was always available to take her car to transport students to school activities, to go to Boy Scout and Camp Fire Girl Outings, MIA Camp and MIA dance festivals. She, also, served as a DeMolay Mother and a Job's Daughters Mother while living in Price. Her Church activities include being a teacher in Primary and Sunday School, serving four years as MIA secretary, as First Councelor to the Relief Society President, and as a visiting teacher for Relief Society. She also served as MIA speech director, presenting the Speech Festivals for the Parents-Teache- Y.S Ward. In 1957, Mrs. Redd was one og a group in Monticello to organize the San Juan Community Concert Association. She served for eleven years as Membership Chairman and the past three years as President.
