Show Lyman claims California girl as bride He also served in the U. S. Navy and is now employed by The marriage of Miss Patricia Lynne Boyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Derold Boyce of Citrus Heights, Cal. , and Mr. Robyn Vint Lyman was somenized in Reno, Nev. , on March 1, 1969. Mr. Lyman is the son of Mrs. Maxine S. Lyman of Monti-cell- o. He is a graduate of Mont ice llo High School and attended CSU in Cedar City. the Aerospace Aircraft in Sacramento, Cal. The new Mrs. Lyman grad- uated from San Juan High School in Citrus Heights just last June. The young couple are making their home in Rancho Cordova, Cal. Wedding plans revealed A May 1st wedding in the Salt Lake Temple is being planned by Miss Marlene Black and Mr. Grant K. Nielson. Making known the nuptial news are parents of the bride-eleMr. and Mis. Kline Black of Blanding. Parents of the future bridegroom are Mr. and Mis. Clyde Nielson of Monticello. The bride -- elect attended San Juan High School where she was a cheerleader and active in school affairs. She also attended Brigham Young University where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She was employed at the San Juan Hospital until March and is presently employed at the Mesa General Hospital in Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Nielson attended Monticello High School where he was student body president in 1962-6- 3 and was active in has attended LDS He sports. Business College, Mesa Community College and Brigham Young University. He has . filled a South British Mission and is presently employed with ct, Eager-Northe- rn Electric in Mesa, Ariz. Bluff girl weds Mr. and Mrs. John F. Thompson of Bluff are happy to an- nounce the marriage of their daughter Judith Kay to Mr. Robert M. Sensintaffer at the Lutheran Church of Jackson, Wyo. , on Mar. 5. Mr. Sensintaffer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Sensintaffer of Casper, Wyo. The competition was tough mt the women played hard, finally Blanding Third Ward defeated the Moab First Ward to win the championship. Other prizes were presented and Betty Lumbardie won a prize for the girl who had the most fun. The most graceful player was Sue Murdock, the most cooperative team was Moab Third Ward and the oldest player was Claudia Co-hoste- ss. Election of officers was held. Mrs. Bill Brazelton was reelected President, Mrs. Bob Sparks was Mrs. R. E. Anderson was elected Secretary, Mrs. Jerry Fraizer, Treasurer, Mrs. Dave Patterson, Educational Director, Mrs. Bill re-elec- ted Moab hosts volleyball tournament MRS. ROBYN VINT LYMAN Brock as Draper. Minna Nicols was given a prize for riding a bike to the tournament instead of coming in a car, Lynda Nicols was voted the most valuable player and the lossers of the loosers went to the Moab Second Ward. The referees were Mrs. Lorraine Leavitt and Norie Kaliguchi. A covered dish luncheon was furnished by the ball players. The tournament was under the direction of the Young Women Stake Mutual with Mrs. John Lewis, Stake Sports Director, supervising. Magic Moment The Junior Prom Music by Jack Norris Vice-Preside- nt. Kissner, Parlimentarian and Mrs. Lewis Calvert, Historian. In special ceremonies by candlelight, Mrs. Ray Freeman was reaffirmed as an active member of ESA, Mrs. Ken Christiansen joined the chapter as a pledge, and Mrs. Bob Sparks received the First Pearl Award for achievement within the sorority. It was announced that Mrs. Albert Kingman also achieved this particular award. The sorority recently feted Mrs. Kingman at a farewell gathering before she and her family moved to Colville, Wn. It was discolsed that Beta Delta President, Mrs. Bill Brazelton has been presented with the First Degree Pallas Athene Award for her outstanding endeavors within the international organization. Her efforts made the chartering of Beta Delta possible in Monticello. Saturday, Mrs. R. E. Anderson was April 19 voted "Most Outstanding Chapter Member" of the year. 8:00 P.M.
