He is a native of Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University in 1951 with a BS degree in range management, Anderson has been with the BLM since his graduation and has held various positions including range conservationist, range manager and program analyst. In 1959 ne became program coordination officer for BLM in Alaska, with headquarters in Juneau, and he held this Char-Broil- ed position until he was transferred to Utah. Mr. Holden, whose son Curtis plays for the H&W Dairy junior league team, was helping coach the team during batting practice when a hit ball struck him in the eye.
