A new daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown Wednesday. Gene Johnson took her children to Mexican Hat for medical attention Thursday. Ted and Beverly Hall made a trip to Grand Junction over the weekend. Mrs. Hortense Seibers of Monticello visited her mother, Mrs. Ida May Powell Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Rogers son and Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Hall Sunday. Trena Williams has been released from the hospital in Monticello, but did not return home. She is staying at the home of her sister, Mrs. Janice Blake. Ester Warren, her father and mother, made a trip to Flagstaff, Ariz. Saturday to meet the bus and bring a friend, Mr. Eugene Williams, to Bluff to visit. He continued his journey to his home in Tex. Monday Mrs. Shirley Johnson went to Moab Monday afternoon. She will spend several days there. Roger and Arlene Hall of Moab visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Hall over the weekend. . There will be a Chamber of Commerce meeting at Recapture Court Friday evening at 8 oclock. Mrs. Bronson spent part of her time on business connected with her Hobby Shop then went to Preston, Idaho to visit with relatives. Mrs. Carter came back to Blanding on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Slavens who had gone to Provo on Friday to visit with friends and relatives and to do some shop ping. Mrs. Meree Slavens, mother of James also went up north with them. Visiting here with Bishop and Mrs. Kline Black is their niece. Miss De Anna Johnson of Betteravia, Calif. Bishop Kline Black underwent surgery Monday morning in the San Juan hospital and was reported getting along as well as could be expected. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bleak, Jimmy Bleak and Hansene Dennison spent several days visiting in Ariz. At Luppe they visited with the Bleaks daugh ter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Nazor. They also went to Flagstaff and Page. Mrs. Vent Redd and Mrs. Allen Black went to Salt Lake City on business over the weekend. The Grant Nelsons returned Reverend Richard Campbell is in Buhl, Idaho this week a convention of attending Baptist ministers from Idaho and Utah. There will be theological lectures and discussion periods to assist the ministers in their work.
