Each bid is to be in accordance with plans and specifications and other contract documents now on file with the BOARD of EDUCATION, SAN JUAN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they may be examined; and copies may be obo, tained from the Architect, LEWIS ERIC SANDSTROM, 290 North University Avenue, Provo, Utah, upon deposit of $50.00 per set, which deposit will be refunded upon return of such copy in good condition within five d; after the bids are opened. If any contractor desires more than one set, he shall pay $25.00 for such set, which amount shall not bz returnable. Bud Diaper, formerly principal of the Monticello and Biand-in- g LDS seminaries, has been named director of LDS Institute of Religion at Oregon State University at Corvallis. He will complete requirements for his Master of Science degree at Brigham Young University before going to his new assignment. Mr. Draper received his B. S. degree from BYU in 1954, the same year be began teaching at Monticello. He and his wife, Candace, now have four children. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Henderson, who have made their home here the past two and half years, are returning May 1 to their former home in Delta, Utah. The Hendersons son, Bill, a recently returned LDS missionary, visited his parents last weekend and was a speaker in the Monticello 1st Ward Sacrament Sendees. Section 385 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Monticello, 1951 is hereby repealed. 2. The Mayor shall be paid compensation in the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each meeting of the City Council attended by him and each member of the City Council shall be paid the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each meeting of the City Council attended by him, provided that the Mayor and each Council member shall be paid for attendance at no more than two meetings each month. Nothing herein shall be construed to limit the number of Council Meetings which may be held each month, but only as a limitation on the number of meetings for which the Mayor and Councilmen shall be paid. 3.
