Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD PAGE SIX LEGAL ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT OF SAN JUAN COUNTY STATE OF UTAH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING NOTICES NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that Monticello City Corporation will receive sealed bids at the City Hall up to 7:00 P.M. on the 16th day of April, 1958, after which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the construction of an Overhead Electrical Distribution System. Instructions to Bidders, Specifications and bidding documents may be examined and obtained from the office of CALDWELL, RICHARDS & SORENSEN, Inc., Engineers for Monticello City Corporation on this project, 408 Zions Savings Bank Bldg. Salt Lake City, Utah. A desposit of $25.00 will be required on each set of plans and specifications, which deposit will be refunded providing the bidder submits a bonafide bid and returns the plans and specifications within 5 days after the date set for the opening of bids. Issuance of more than one set of plans to the same bidder will require a deposit of $12.50 for each set, $5.00 of which is refundable on the set forth above. Each bid must be submitted on the form provided as a part of the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond from a surety company acceptable to the Treasurer of Monticello City Corporation in the amount of at least five percent of the bid. Said check or bid bond shall be given as a" guarantee that the bidder will ex-ecute the contract in conformity with the form or contract included in the Contract Documents and furnish performance bond within ten (10) days after notification of the award of the contract to the bidder. Wages paid by the Contractor, to mechanics, laborers, and other employed help on this project must be no less than the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Utah Stlate Industrial Commission, which are made a part of the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive informality in any bid as its best interests may appear. A decision on the letting of a contract to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders, or the rejection of any or all bids, will be made thirty (30) days after the bids are opened.
