Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday, January 17. 2001 FRANCIS R. WHITE February 27, 1922 Francis R. White passed peacefully in her sleep on De- cember 23, 2000 in Moab, UT. Francis was born February 27, 1922 December 23, 2000 expresses Hardison great appre- Redd III and L o v i n a ciation for her devotion and Mickelson love throughout her many years. the Redd, eighth of 11 children in Monticello, Francis is survived by her husband, their six children, George Merald (Jeri Utah. Francis was raised in Monticello and worked in La Sal as a Ann) of Moab; young woman, where she met husband George M. White. George and Francis were married in Moab on February 10, 1940. They lived and raised their family in La Sal where Francis worked as Postmaster for 13 years. They moved to Spanish Valley in 1967. Francis worked at the Moab Post Office for several years, in addition to helping George build the ranch. Francis served as Relief Society President and taught in the Sunday School, Primary and Relief Society in the 'fi Northern Her family Lovina Lee (Jay Harker) of Mesa, AZ; David Elmo (Jeanine) of Orem; Jon Bruce (Kathy) of Spanish Fork; Jeffrey Clifford of Salt Lake City; and James Richard (Leslie) of Garrison, Utah; 26 grandchildren, 31 a two brothers, Daryle Redd and Howard Redd, five sisters: Maude Redd, Bessie Bailey, Virginia Hammond, Dorothy Jameson, and Barbara Hammett.
