Show FLORENCE 3 V the (jFROI V LA SALS g Would like to apoligize to my readers for the past few Relatives of Mrs. Elmina Lamb who with her four children, lived in Blanding several years ago, received word last week of her death in Santa Barbara, Calif. Mrs. Lamb is a sister of Brig Stevens, Vivian Shumwav andi Emma Hawkins, all of Bland- out everyone there had the best time ever. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Butt of Montezuma Creek and Jiis mother, Susan Butt drove to Grando, Arizona on Saturday for a little sight seeing trip. Jeff Perkins, son of Ray Perkins arrived home Dec. 1 after having his alloted time finished in the service. Needless to say, his family and friends were glad to have him home in time for holidays. The Kimmerlees spend their time at Bullfrog where they are employed. Their twin daughters, Kathleen and Carolyn and their families came from Salt Lake David who recently returned from a mission was here also as was son Charles. David left the first of the week to attend the University of Utah. He will stay with his sister, Kathleen while he attends school. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nielson and daughter. Linda, expect to leave the fore part of the week for their winter home in Mesa, Ariz. The spent Christmas here. Lindsay Jones, who recently returned from an LDS Mission spent Christmas here. He left the week for Provo to attend BYU. His father Christmas. During the holidays Jeff and his friend Lane Lyman, who has also recently been released from the Army, went to Los Angeles for a visit. They both expect to soon enroll in school for the winter months. Welcome home fellows. Judy and Terry Black came from Salt Lake City for the holidays with her parents, the Ray Perkins. While here they in Provo learning Spanish. A very happy New Year to all you readers of "our" paper. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Lvmac and baby spent the holidays here from Salt Lake. Austin attends school there and Kathleen nurses at Holy Cross. Jim and Jeannie Redd spent Christmas here, then went to California for the balance of the holidays. They both attend USAC in Logan. Mr, and Mrs. Toddy Wozniak and daughter, Donna, spent Christmas in Texas with their daughter Gayle and her husband Woody and family. Mrs. Kathy Redding EAST Mr. and Mrs. Rex Johnson hosted a lovely dinner party Dec. 29 in honor of Mr. and Mrs. John Codner. John was recently released as Branch Clerk after many years of faithful service. The Eastland Branch MIA sponsored a sleigh ride party New Years Eve. The group gathered at Cultural Hall for a pot luck supper and movie. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Snyder hosted a skating party and buffet supper for a group of young people new years eve, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Johnson and son spent the new years weekend with Mr. and re-cei- vec a dislocated sholder while tubing Sunday Dec. 27, and was under a Doctors care ' for two days. She is now in a neck brace and will be for two months. Mr. and Mrs. Blake Liddell motored to Provo Dec. 30 to take Megan to a doctor : there.
