I would like to personally extend thanks to Carl Mahon, the Park Service, Sheriff Lacy and staff, San Juan County Search and Rescue personnel, Emergency Medical Technicians, and anyone else who played a role in Marissas rescue. Their assistance, expertise, and concern turned a life threatening situation into a happy ending. These people provide an outstanding service for society and sometimes their roles are taken for granted. On behalf of Marissa, myself, our family, and our friends, I express our thanks to them for jobs very well done. Sincerely, Randy Johnson Marysvale, Utah would not land adjacent to her property.
