Show San Juan High claims another state drama title The San Juan High School Drama Department brought home their fifth consecutive state championship from the state tournament on April 21 in Nephi, Utah. The Broncos claimed the state sweepstakes trophy with 244 points, outpacing second place Duchesne, who scored 218. It was a strong performance in every category that made the difference San Juan, who took home the outstanding competition plaque for fin: their presentation of the Imaginary Invalid. It earned the top marks of the eight plays presented at the annual state tournament. There were 33 students who were involved in various aspects of the play. Sastia Johnson was named Best Actress, Rosie Nielson was named Best Character Actress, Edward Larson was named Best Character Actor, and Cara Hunt and Caleb Hunt won Cameo Acting awards. Acts.
