Show Red CrOSS meets 'Major Dunn stationed at Three Monticellans attain honor list Three voting jvoj'le from Monticello who are attending the University of Utah were named to the fall quarter honor roll at that Institution. Wanda Hunt Black, a Fresh- - Patterson The Boazd member! of the AFB San Juan County Red Cross Chapter held a meeting Monday evening In the Board Room of the San Juan Hospital to further prepare for their drive in March Mr. Sylvan Johnson, Chapter Chairman, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Pauline Lauderback of Blandlng as the Chapter Fund Chairman for the county while Mrs. Shirley Cather will be subchairman in Monticello. The Chapter has set a goal of $1200 and the chairmen are organizing plans for their house to house campaign the first week in March. As a successful membership and fund campaign 1$ essential to the chajter's ability to serve the community, to the organization's ability to serve the nation, it is hoped the goal will be reached through the full hearted support of the community. Among the Chapter's impor- tant services to the community are its Blood program, its Services to Military Families, its Youth Program and its Disaster Services. The Chapter has named Mr. Arlow Freestone and Mrs. Nadine Bayles as of its Blood Program, Mrs. D. L. Gibbons of Blanding as Chairman for Services to Military Families, Dr, Jared M. Dunn, the Mrs. Bruce Halliday, Chairson of Mr. Allie V. Dunn of man for its Youth Program and Murray, Utah, is medical Mrs. Robert A. Anderson as advisor to the Life Support Public Information Chairman. During the course he was trained to operate and maintain various Army electronic equipment. U q entered the service during the Korean conflict and served as a fighter pilot and then as a special weapons officers until 1954. In 1959 he entered the Medical Corps and served at Walter on Reed Army Hospital. He attended the primary course in Aerospace Medicine and finished his residency in aerospace medicine in June 1964. He attended parachute jump school in 1967. Dr. Dunn holds the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. His wife is the former Geraldine Redd of Monticello, the daughter of Ray V. Redd and the Dunns live presently in Dayton, Ohio. 4s Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Robson and daughter, Jan, went to Aspen for a weekend of skiing Feb. 10 and 1 1. Saturday was spent on the slopes at Aspen and Sunday at the new area of Snowmass. They the skiing was very, good at both spots and that the view from the lifts was spectacular and worth the trip alone. Mrs. Pace, with her husband and two children, were going to Salt Lake City when another car hit them.
