Park site to be made WASHINGTON Senator Frank E. Moss and Congressmen David S. King and M. Blaine Peterson, the Democratic members of the Utah Congressional Delegation, conferred Friday with Interior Department officials on the proposed new national park in the southeast canyon area of Utah. They met with Secrefor an Udall Stewart of Interior the tary and National Park Service Director Conrad L. Wirth. Udall recently visited Utah to examine the hour-and-a-h- area. The Utahns recommended, and it was agreed, that a full economic study of the region be instituted at an early date. It would set forth the impact of a National Park on development of present economic uses of the area, princi pally grazing and mineral and oil exploration. And it would project the economic growth and economic benefits which might accrue from additional tourist business if a national park should be established. Such a study will provide a factual basis for discussion of the economic question about which much of the controversy covering the park proposal has revolved, Moss said. Moss, King and Peterson said there was some discussion of proposed boundaries, but that any firm decisions on that question depend on many factors under study, and have been deferred. Congressman King said: It was also agreed that the National r ..i ai i pettier tine uia i Legal Notice UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE . . . By Albert R.
