The mother of Mrs. Kenneth B. Maughan, Mrs. Lizetta Bailey, passed away Sunday, March 27, in Hyrum, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Maughan left here immediately and were in attendance at her funeral which was held Thursday in Moroni. In addition to Mrs. Maughan there are four other daughters surviving Mrs. Bailey, and all were present for her funeral and burial. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley McDonald and family traveled to Salt Lake City last week. They were accompanied by Mrs. Ronald McDonald and children. They attended the Sunday session of the LDS conference before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Rasmussen were in Salt Lake City for business purposes last week. Also in the capitol city were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cooper; and L. Frank Redd left Tuesday for Salt Lake City for a medical checkup.
