Austin Jensen, who lives on the highway several miles north of Monticello, had finished hunting and was putting his rifle into the car when it exploded nd instantly killed Allen Jensen, his five year old son. The childs mother and two little sisters witnessed the accident. The family had aecom-anie- d Mr. Jensen on the deer hunt, and were waiting in the car when it happened. Stanley Lman reported the action of the committee selected at a meeting, Sunday, of the people from the north end of town, to meet with the school board Monday afternoon in Monticello to register protest against putting the building on the Perkins property south of town. Sunday, in company with her parents, she went to Manti where she attended a session in the temple then continued on to Salt Lake to enter the Mission Home. Following her training there, she will depait for her field of labor in western Canada. Freak Airplane Accident At Bluff Reported Mrs. George Dunbar, of Santa Barbara, Calif., was injured in a plane accident Sunday eve- -, ning, Oct. 31. The plane, owned by the Dunbars, was piloted by Mr. Dunbar. At dusk he attempted to land the plane on. the highway near Bluff, Utah. Dust from a car which had proceeded him on the road cbscur-re- d his vision and the plane nosed into the soft shoulder of the road, and turned over into a ditch. Mrs. Dunbar was brought to the San Juan County Hospital suffering from a back injury, according to hospital reports. She was released after tpdng put into cast.
