| Show ff blanding landing man passes passe on by Fi florence orence galbraith funeral services for alvin lovell washburn 47 who lied early saturday morning august 1 were held august and 2nd in the blanding ward chapel at p in mr washburn was born april 25 1895 at huntington utah and while very young moved to kirtland N M with his family in later years the family moved to blanding where he be has since re sf ded he was married to wasel black back in 1917 and to this union were born ten sons and daughters verde vela lark berk aldean J B val gene velyn veloy and virginia all of blanding surviving are his children and widow and three brothers james D of draper utah ross of tooele thoele and guy of blanding and four sisters mrs neta young mrs klea palmer mrs reva rogers and mrs vernis harris of this place mr washburn suffered severely for gat 6 months but never failed to have a friendly smile or warm handclasp for everyone who visited him the many beautiful flowers showed the deep love and respect everyone had for vell veil and the family the speakers at the funeral paid the highest tribute to mr washburn and told of his many sterling qualities burial took place in the city cemetery |
