Johnson L In rites solemOGDEN nized Wednesday morning In the Salt Lake LDS temple, Miss Merlene Palmer became the bride of Joseph P. Johnson. ElRay L. Christiansen, temple president, officiated. Parents of Bridegroom Immediately following the ceremony, the newlyweds and guests were honored at a wedding breakfast at the Aviation Gub, Salt Lake City, given by Mr. and Mrs. T. ft. Johnson, Ogden, parents of the bridegroom. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. - Mary Palmer and Ralph B. Palmer, Ogden. - Prior marriage;' the mother of the .bride entertained at a tea for her daughter at The Threshhold. The former Miss Palmer Is a graduate of Weber College, where she was a member ' of LaDianaeda Social Gub. To Continue Studies Mr. Johnson, who recently-complet- ed a LDS ' mission , to Hawaii, ,1s. also .a. graduate of Weber College, where he was affiliated with Excelsior Mens Club. He plans to continue his studies at Weber College and the University of Utah in the college of business. After a honeymoon trip to California, the yoUng couple will make a home in Ogden. C.
