Horton of the Firs Presbyterian Presby-terian church of that city. The bride represents one of the oldest families in Oklahoma, her uncle being the second governor of that state. She is a very talented young woman along literary lines, and because of her winning personality per-sonality is a favorite among her friends and associates. The past year was spent by her in the A. and M. college at Still-water, Still-water, and while there she won a distinguished dis-tinguished place among the student bodv, being elected president, of the Y. W. C. A. and a member of the staff of the college paper. The groom is a son of "Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Macfarlane of 2.1 R street, this 'ity. Tre was graduafed by the IT. of U. in 1' 10, and later took post-graduate work at the University of Illinois, receiving re-ceiving the Ph. D. degree in agriculture agricul-ture in 1915. Bishop Win McMillan of the Twenty-eighth ward officiated. The bride .jyas gowned in white silk, with chiffon hand t embroidered in beads, and carried bride's roses. The parlor and dining room were beautifully decorated in pink and white, palms, ferns, potted plants, roses and carnations being used. A bride's cake was in the center of the table and the place cards were heart shaped. Hearts were festooned from the chandelier and pink tulle extended ex-tended over the cloth. Summer flowers flow-ers were used about the room. The living room was decorated in the national na-tional colors. The guests were the two immediate families and a few iutimate friends.
