Show PH0T1S IDE AT THE HOTEL UTAH Vacancy Caused by Death cf Wesley Austin Filled; Other Advancements. Since the death of Wesley Austin, assistant manager of the Hotel Utah, the question of a successor has been widely discussed among the man: friends of Mr. Austin. Two assistant managers will be appointed ap-pointed to fill tho present vacancy. John T. Winne.. who has been in tho employ em-ploy of Manager Eelf for the last ten years, will be appointed first assistant manager. Mr: Whine, who has been employed as room clork at the Utah since that institution first opened, will have charge of the front part of tho house, while William Gill, who has been employed for the same leugth of time hy Mr. Eelf, and as steward since the placo opened, will have charge of the catering department, his title to bo second assistant manager. The vacancy vacan-cy which occurs through the advancement advance-ment of ' 'Johnnie " Winne will be filled by A. M. Stewart, now the night clerk at the institution. Guy Gillis, at prcsont captain of tho bellboys, will be advanced to the position of night clerk to replace -Mr. Stewart. |
