Tho grand Jury today returned Indictments Indict-ments ngalnst two persons not yet In custody, and It Is rumored that these persons per-sons are two of thoso who mndo affidavits alleging misconduct on the part of Rulrk. At least one of the persons who made such an affidavit Is very greatly concerned as to whom the Indictments returned re-turned today are Intended to cover, and Ills life has been somewhat mlserablo during dur-ing the last few days. The Canyon County fair opened today at Caldwell. The attendance at-tendance was much larger than had been anticipated, owing to tho unusually cool weather and the excellent service provided pro-vided by the Boise and Interurban railway, rail-way, which was opened about a month ago. The exhibits and racon so far arc exceptionally good. |
