Word has been received from department by the local membership committee of the American Legion auxiliary, that all 1921 memberships of that organisation must be paid by the end of this month. This brings the drive about three months sooner than in previous year. The local committee, under the direction of Mrs. J. Wesley Horsley, has already organised and launched a drive with the determination of equaling the American Legion In num bers for the coming year, several prises are offered by tb (tat de partment. A membership luncheon I planned for Monday evening, . November 14, at the legion home, so which all eligible to the organisation are In vited. A special Invitation has been extended to Mrs. M.
