Show HANDSOME QUARTERS PROVIDED FOR WOMEN Salisbury Investment Company Proffers Abundant Space in Felt Building. The question of quarters for the women's wom-en's committees of the Republican party in Salt rake during the campaign was settled yesterday when the Salisbury Investment In-vestment company offered the use of the ground floor of the Felt building, formerly for-merly occupied by the Citizens' military training camp committee. From these quarters the various political polit-ical activities of women all over the state will he directed. A meeting of the boards of the women's state committee probably will be held at the new quarters quar-ters tomorrow to inspect the quarters and outline the work of the campaign. simultaneous with the announcement that quarters had been obtained came the announcement that Mrs. Margaret Blaine Salisbury of Salt Lake had been appointed chairman of the women's advisory ad-visory board. In this connection State Chairman Glen Miller announced the appointment ap-pointment of additional members to the women's executive and advisorv commit-tees. commit-tees. The personnel of the committees so far announced are: Executive committee Mrs. Annie! Wells Cannon. Mrs. Margaret Zane Cher-dron Cher-dron and Miss Zet'na Hammer of Salt Lake: Mrs. J. U. Kldredge, Jr. of O-den and Mrs. Lydia LcCompte of Park City. Advisory committee Mrs. Jeanette B Hyde, Mrs. Justin R. Davis and Mrs Susan Y. Gates of Salt Lake: Mrs Delilah De-lilah Meneray Bach man of Provo Mrs-James Mrs-James W. Cherry of Mt. Tieasant.' Kvery county in the state will be represented rep-resented on the advisory committee when all the appointments have been made. |
