Show PARK CITY NEWS. Park Cut, Aup. 13. Special correspondence. corre-spondence. Yesterday an election was held for a recorder for Uintah minim; district. Rev. C. Gunn and Patrick I. Brenau being the candidates in the held. There were Zii votes cast, the largest number ever polled for recorder in this district. For some cause unknown un-known to the stock holders the judges refused to give the result of the election but it is thought that Mr. Gunn is the officer-elect for the ensuing year. Mr. 0. J. Benson was looking happy last evening and when asked the cause of this joyfullness said: "An eight pound boy at the house this afternoon. All concerned doing well," The Cobweb aud Glideing Star mines in Uintah mining district are immense concerns. It was noticed that a great many voters owned fee in these properties proper-ties yesterday at the election. Dr. P. L. Holland, of Chicago, is in Park enjoying tho pleasant climate. T. J. Mackintosh was in Turk yesterday. yester-day. Mr. Mackintosh returns today to Salt Lake. Stewart Stephenson came up from Salt Lake yesterday. Mrs. Win. Wiseman and Mrs. E. P.
