Show AT REST. :. 1 ' The Fanerala of tb. I.ete Edward Scot and Capt. H. II. Day. ' The funeral services of the late Edward Ed-ward Scott, who was murdered by William Diamond, took place this morning at 10 o'clock from the First Methodist Episcopal church. Rev. W. . E. Mabry made an address and referred indirectly to the cause of Mr. Scott's r death. The brotherhood of carpenters and joiners were present at the funeral -and marched in the procession. ' At 10 o'clock this afternoon the funeral of the late Capt. H. H. Day took place from the Cullen where he died Monday morning. The services were conducted by the Knight Templars Tem-plars and the Liberal band was in the ' V procession. . |
