In addition, for many Americans, what greater week-enpasstime is there than to watch and root for the Saturday Heroes of their favorite college team? Combine these two traditions and what have you got? One of this country's most well known and best watched d events of New Year's Day ... the Pasadena Tourna- ment of Roses Parade and the famed Rose Bowl Game! On that winter day, millions of Americans will be watching the proceedings on their home TV screens, and possibly thinking of the lucky few fortunate enough to personally attend the colorful and exciting events. But why cant it be you? Why not, indeed. Florists' Transworid Delivery (FTD), an organization of 12,500 florists which is annually represented by a float in the Tournament of Roses Parade, has announced that it will sponsor a Rose Parade on Contest, starting to make November the 25, 1971, dream trip possible for two lucky people. All a prospective contest- ant peed do is to pick up an entry blank at one of the local FTD florist shops and write in. their guess on the exact number of flowers to be used on "Aquarius, the FTD float which will be in the 1972 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. The float will measure 50 feet long, 18 feet wide and 16 feet high. Every inch of its surface will be covered with flowers. As a further help to contestants, a picture of "Aquarius will be available for inspection at all FTD florists. The winner will receive a trip for two to the 1973 parade with all expenses paid Religious awareness is sweeping the country in new ways, witness the J.C. Shirt. Unlike the trite designs often just lifted from a record album cover which have been imposed on Superstar Shirts to date, the J.C. shirt designs was created by an established artist to reflect the true meaning of the Jesus revival. The powerful drawing of the dramatic crucifixion scene depicts Christ's death on the cross, and the bold rendering of the peace symbol provides a wordless explanation of the reason for His death. The wearer of the J.C. Shirt silently shouts his cry for peace on earth. The machine washable J.C. Shirt, which retails for $6 and comes in adult average or adult large sizes, is distributed to stores and consumers by Proverbs, P.O. Dr. Philip J. Boyne, professor of oral surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and Dr. William L.
