Show KNOWS HE WILL DIE, Joaaph Fala, a Dataotlva, Arriras in Salt With tha Lockjaw. The Rio Grande Western passenger brought to this city yesterday a man whose death seems but a question of hours. His name is Joseph Feis and he is from Philadelphia, though more recently hu hails from Rouo, Nev. Feis was in an unconscious condition when the train pulled into the depot. He was taken to the city hall where it was developed that the man was sull'er-ing sull'er-ing from lockjaw. He claims to be a detective and was in the New York department de-partment six years. He is confident that his death will occur sion, though Dr. Allen differed with him on that point. Feis is an Odd Fellow and Mason. He carries $8i(10 life insurance and has no family. He says in case he dies be wants his money to go to the widows and orphans of Masons and Odd Fellows. Fel-lows. Feis was taken to St. Mary's hospital where he is restiug quietly. |
