News has reached here of the killing of the noted territory outlaw and murderer, Jeff Logue, near Anadarko, in the Comanche nation, by Deputy Marshal Heck . Thomas. Thomas had a warrant from the federal court at Fort Smith, charging Loguo with murder. Logue resisted arrest and opened fire on Thomas, which was returned re-turned with fatal effect. After having shot Loguo, he went to him, supposing the man dead, but as he stooped over his prostrate form the dying man raised his revolver, which he still grasped, and fired at Thomas, the ball taking effect in his left arm, making a very serious wound. As he fired on Thomas he remarked, re-marked, "I'll learn you to be a little more careful how to approach a gentleman gentle-man to shake hands."
