I R M FDlk FFDeinidfe t TIT You cannot imagine how disappointed I am that, owing to r jJ the present epidemic of influenza, necessitating the closing of gatherings, I am unable to entertain the Old Folks on my birthday, October 26th, as heretofore at the American Theatre. Please, dear friends, believe me when I say the lost opportunity grieves me more, if possible, than you, for I love you all. But we will try to get together anyway. Let's put it off till Christmas Eve afternoon what do you say? Won't that be just as well? It will commemorate two events. I earnestly hope you will all be there. I also want all the Orphans in Salt Lake to be my guests on that day, and as long as the American Theatre stands the Old Folks and Orphans will be my welcome guests each year. Sincerely and respectfully, W H. SWANSON. ' ; e , " . v - ' . t - . ' i " ". .." - ... ; ' ' " " V " " " ' ' . . : ' . ; : ; ' : : ' ' ' : t |
