Show Ford Amends Suit in Strike ST. LOUIS, Dec. 2 tJPi The Ford Motor company and the United Automobile Au-tomobile Workers of America, affiliate af-filiate of the Committee for Industrial Indus-trial Organization, prepared today for legal skirmishes as the U. A. W. A. strike called at the St. Louis assembly plant entered ita second week. The company late yesterday amended its original suit asking for an injunction to prevent picketing at its plant, naming v2 additional defendants. The new defendants, together with the 2ft named in the first petition, were ordered by Judge Robert J. Kirkwood to ahow cause in circuit court tomorrow why an order should not be issued. The suit, filed by Ford attorneys November 24. charges the pickets have attempted to damage the company's com-pany's business by interfering with i operation of the plant through intimidation in-timidation of employes.
