YWCA Announces Summer Registration for summer activities at the YWCA at 322 East Third South begins June 4 through the 9th from 9:30 a.m. Registration to 7:00 p.m. Classes begin Monday, June . Activities are available for tots through adults. Tots (6 months - 3 years) may enjoy swim or gym with mother. Children (3 6) may take swimming, dance or exercise and coordination. For the 7 - 14 set, ballet, jazz' or creative dance or swimming and sports will be offered. Senior high 1 1 -- program includes arts & crafts, dance, sports and swimming. Other activites for youth include tennis (begins at 10 years of age), camping and field trips. For adults, activities include yoga, dance, gym, swim, aquacize and tennis. In the YWCA cottage a weaving workshop and pottery cooperative program are available over the summer on a limited basis. Call the YWCA at 355-280- 4 for information relating to fees and scheduling. The YWCA is a United Fund Agency. Council Urges Support For Park - Cultural Center The Central City Neighborhood Council is urging residents of Central City to support Commissioners Jennings Phillips and James Barker in their effort to obtain the Sumner School property for use as a park and cultural center.
